Many people follow the dieting plan for 5 days a week and then hog on the junk foods on weekends. This is a strict NO-NO for dieting. Do not let any factor interrupt your diet regime. But that does not mean that you stop eating. Follow your fat-free diet plan.
Maintain a diary and jot down whatever you eat. Even if you eat a biscuit, mention it there. At the end of the day, calculate the number of calories you consumed. Keep a track on what you drink too. This would help to keep a track of the calories intake and also help you find out where you are going wrong. This is a very good way to plan your weight reduction program and lose weight.
Stop following bad eating habits:
Never mix food and entertainment. If you watch TV while eating, you are likely to overeat.
Cut down on coffee, tea and other beverages. They just add empty calories. Switch to green tea instead.
Avoid drinking water while having a meal. It is preferable to have a glass of water before 15-20 minutes of any meal.
Do not be in a hurry to finish off the food. Chew properly and take time to eat.
Keep away from ice-creams, chocolates and alcohol.
Have 5-6 small meals rather than 3 big meals.
Indulge in physical activity. Simple exercising can help to speed up the body metabolism and promote weight loss.
