Home remedies for removal of warts:

Warts may vary in size and shape. The rough elevations on the skin are termed as warts. Home remedies for removal of warts:

Banana peel:

Rubbing banana peel on the warts can help you to remove them. Rub banana peel on the affected areas several times daily to get rid of warts.

Castor Oil:

Castor oil is an effective home remedy for treating warts. Rub and massage a few drops of castor oil on the warts.

Baking Soda:

Rub a paste of baking soda on the warts to remove them. This can be done several times a day.

Apple Cider Vinegar:

Another effective home remedy for warts is apple cider vinegar. Apply apple cider vinegar on the warts with a clean cotton ball. It would be beneficial if it is applied on washed and clean skin. A mixture of lemon juice, salt and apple cider vinegar can also be applied.


Application of fig juice is also considered to be an effective home remedy for warts.


Apply fresh cut piece of pineapple on the affected areas. Leave it on the skin for some time and then wash it off with water.


Apply a paste of garlic or crushed garlic on the affected areas to get rid of warts. It should be covered with a bandage.


A slice of raw potato should be rubbed on the warts. Rub the potato on the affected areas for 10-15 minutes and leave it for another 10-15 minutes.

Aloe Vera:

Aloe Vera gel should be applied on the warts to get rid of them.

Tooth paste:

A small amount tooth paste can also be applied on the affected regions. Leave it on the warts for some time and then wash off with plain water to remove the warts.

Flaxseed oil:

A poultice of flax seed oil can also be used. Make a mixture of flax seeds, honey and flax seeds oil. Apply the mixture on the warts to treat them.


A paste of coriander is also known to be an effective home remedy for removal of warts. Leave the paste on affected areas for 15-20 minutes and rinse off.

Cumin seeds:

Cumin seeds are another effective natural remedy for the treatment of warts. Apply a paste of cumin seeds on the warts for removing them.


The juice of grape fruit should be applied on the affected areas to get rid of warts.
