How to Get rid of Acne

Get rid of Acne:

90% of the teenage population gets affected by acne. Everyone wants a magical instant solution. We want a pill or cream to help us get rid of acne overnight.

Cause of Acne:

All types of acne are formed because of the wrong food habits. Improper foods, excess intake of sugar and fatty foods can lead to acne. Chronic constipation can also be a cause for acne.

Home remedies and treatments:

A mixture of yoghurt and oatmeal should be applied on the face. Wash the face when the face pack is dried.
Aloe Vera is a good product to cure acne. Aloe Vera gels and soaps help you in healing the acne damaged skin too.
Orange peel application can also be a good treatment to cure acne.

Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder with water. Apply this paste on the acne infected parts while sleeping and wash it in the morning with cold water.

Unboiled chilled milk blended with gram flour has been proved effective for the daily wash of acne skin.
Apply ripe tomato paste on the pimples and wash after an hour.

Garlic can also be used to heal acne. Garlic has been known to cure the toughest type of acne also.

Lemon juice can also be used effectively to get rid of acne and can also be helpful to reduce the intensity of acne.
Grated cucumber applied on face and neck can also be used for treating pimples and acne.

A natural herbal remedy for acne is applying a mixture of coriander and turmeric powder. Mint use may be used instead of coriander for this home treatment of pimples.
Increasing the Vitamin A intake in food can also do wonders. Acne can positively be treated by consuming 100mg of Vitamin A, 400 mg of Vitamin E and 50 mg of Zinc daily. These can also be taken in capsule forms.
Drinking a glass of wheat grass juice daily can help to remove and avoid acne.

Alternate method:

Apart from these home remedies, you can also consult a dermatologist. But there can be some side-effects of the prescribed creams, lotions and ointments.
